ANOTHER GREAT DAY AT BLACK CHERRY FAIR!
The weather just held out and resulted in a bumper crowd at Black Cherry Fair last Saturday. Our pick a birthday date and win a prize game was hugely popular and we raised over £540 on the day. A massive thanks to all the volunteers who came to help on the stand - we really stood out with our eye catching gazebo and our volunteers resplendent in our orange polo shirts.
Our Mayor, Cllr. Elaine Gill and our M.P., Doctor Ben Spencer both visited the stand and complemented the team for their fantastic work supporting those needing support in our local community.
WHAT A GREAT DAY AT THE OTTERSHAW VILLAGE FETE
We put up our new Gazebo and our volunteers prepared for some fun! We made sure we had lots of games, a lucky dip and a "Name the Pussycat" competition for the kids and a raffle for the adults. The weather was perfect and the day gave us the chance to increase awareness of our work in the community, including Ottershaw. We raised over £200 on the day but more importantly two new volunteers are likely to be joining us after coming onto our stand for a chat! Well done everyone involved!
